under the new nova ui style, settings ui now has a left hand column listing the settings categories available the selected catqgory is highlighted in a light purple color. not a fan. how do I change the color. don't mind collateral damage as not a fan of this color.

In `policies.json`, I use this:

However, when typing `curl` into the address bar, the bookmark is not suggested. When I visit `curl.se` and manually add it as a bookmark, Firefox does suggest it in the address bar afterwards.

Is there a way to replicate the latter behavior with the former mechanism? The Bookmarks policy did this, but it appears to be deprecated.

Actually, I believe the aspect of a browser that should not be changed casually is the UI that users interact with while browsing, such as tabs and sidebars. Any changes to configurable UI elements are acceptable, but Firefox should now refrain from altering the UI and instead focus entirely on fixing bugs and optimizing performance. The UI represents the face of a browser, and constantly changing it not only fails to attract new users but also neglects the needs of existing ones.

Hi Mozilla Support Team, I am facing an issue while using WordPress on Mozilla Firefox. The custom fields and options inside the WordPress editor (Gutenberg / Classic Editor) are not loading or responding properly. Issue Details: Custom fields and meta boxes fail to render or freeze when interacted with. Data entered into these fields sometimes does not save upon updating the post. The same WordPress dashboard and fields work completely fine on other browsers like Google Chrome. This morning, I can no longer download (Save) files to my computer, nor check/change settings in Firefox. Tried all troubleshooting steps to no avail.

If I delete and reinstall Firefox, will I lose all my Bookmarks, etc.? Running version 157.0 (aarch64).

Hello, I am unable to use henry.boerger@icloud.com to sign in to or create a Mozilla account.

When I try to sign in with this address, I receive the error: “Primary account email required for sign-in.”

The Mozilla account that may previously have been associated with this address currently uses henry.boerger.hh@gmail.com as its primary email address. In the account settings, no secondary email address is listed.

Nevertheless, henry.boerger@icloud.com still appears to be associated with a Mozilla account internally.

Could you please check the account association and remove/release henry.boerger@icloud.com so that it can be used as the primary email address for a Mozilla account?

I am trying to use the VPN feature to connect to BBC iPlayer in UK. I switched on the VPN in the browser and selected United Kingdom. It doesn't seem to work as BBC iPlayer tells methat I am connecting from outside UK.

When I reinstalled Firefox, my categorized bookmarks were no longer visible. I re-categorized them using "Manage Bookmarks" and it was then Bookmarks Menu. But when I opened Firefox to use it, there was no "Bookmark Menu" and only "Bookmarks", where they appear but not categorized. Where do I find "Bookmarks Menu"?

Hi, i recently update my firefox to the latest version nova and i face some dissapointment with firefox;

the side bar in my vertical tab is too big, i search online for solution but i could not find it;

is this a buildin thing or i can just fix it with settings

Regarding FF v157:

- Mozilla have changed the Graphical user interface of Firefox without asking for consent or providing a clear way to revert back to the old interface, yet again. - They have made changes to the settings, so pre-installed search engines can only be toggled off and NOT removed... - There are a bunch of themes now pre-installed that can't be removed.

I think pushing a change without over way to revert, is why I a lot of people don't donate to the Mozilla foundation
